We are inviting a maximum of 16 golfers onto this exclusive gourmet golf tour, for a combination of witter and wisdom, group and individual golf tuition, excellent food and plentiful drink, luxury accommodation - and rounds of golf on three of the West of Scotland’s stand-out golf courses. Alan has picked Machrahanish Dunes, The Carrick at Cameron House, and The Earl of Mar Course at Mar Hall – three superb courses, with growing reputations for excellence. The first two are comfortably within Britain’s top 100, with the new Dave Thomas-designed Earl of Mar bound to join them in the next year or two.
Your accommodation for both nights is at the fabulous Ormidale House, a historic 13 bedroom Country House in the Kyles of Bute, with indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and games room. It is rated at the very top of VisitScotland’s four star rating for excellence. We have exclusive use of the house for the last week of April.

Your gourmet four course dinner each evening will be in the grand dining hall at Ormidale, with Alan entertaining us all with anecdotes of life on the tour with Seve, Nick Faldo et al, and the story of his round at Carnoustie with Master’s champion Ben Crenshaw and a young Tiger Woods. A malt whisky tasting, and some fun floodlit competitions with a collection of antique golf clubs, will follow dinner.

Aimed at the sociable, clubbable golfer as much as at the serious competitor, The Feast of Scottish Golf tour will be a great networking and social opportunity as well a great way to groove your game in the early part of the 2012 season. You will get short clinics on pitching, putting and bunker play, as well as the chance to receive individual tuition from Alan during the tour. He will play between three and six holes with each golfer non each of the first two days, and will devote dedicated one-on-one time to working with any player who wants help between rounds.
The three day, three round, two night price of £799 is based on single occupancy, and includes all drinks and transfers, as well as all meals. Twin or double occupancy is available on same fully inclusive basis at just £649.
There are two Alan Tait-hosted tours available to book – Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd April, and Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25th April.
